Privacy is not a feature at PDF with Love-it's the foundation. We believe that your sensitive documents should never leave your control.
100% Local Processing
The most significant difference between PDF with Love and other tools is where the work happens.
- Traditional Tools: You upload your file to a server. The server processes it. You download the result. Even if they promise to "delete" it, your data has still traveled across the internet.
- PDF with Love: Your browser downloads the tool, not the other way around. Once the tool is in your browser, it processes your files locally on your RAM.
Zero Data Retention
Because we don't have a backend processing engine for your files:
- We cannot see your files.
- We cannot store your files.
- We cannot leak your files.
Technical Safeguards
- Local Sandboxing: We use high-performance local engines to run optimized code inside the browser's security sandbox.
- No Tracking: We don't use invasive tracking scripts. Your document analytics never touch our servers because there are no document analytics.
- Open Access: Our architecture is transparent. You can check your network tab in DevTools to verify that no file data is being sent during processing.
Why this matters
For legal, medical, and financial professionals, "deleting after 1 hour" isn't enough. Compliance often requires that data never be transferred to a third party. PDF with Love meets this standard by default.
